Iconic Imprints - The Photography of Rolf Kjolseth
Rolf Kjolseth has been a dedicated photographer for the past 50 years.
One-man exhibitions of his prints have been held in Paris, Amsterdam, Bremen, Hamburg, Lodz (Poland), Mexico City, Rochester, and Boulder, as well as at UNESCO. His work is also included in the French National Library’s prestigious archive of “Photographers of the 20th Century,” and in the Carnavalet Museum for the History of the City of Paris.
Since 1990, Rolf has been developing a body of work detailing all aspects of street life in Paris. This website now has approximately 120 of the images he made there during yearly one-month visits. As the website grows, you will be able to see images from several other countries Rolf has visited and documented, including Vietnam, Mexico, China and India.
All photographs are available for purchase in 8"x10" and 11"x14" formats.
